Research Well is for honours, master's and doctoral students doing a research project, dissertation or thesis, and for postdoctoral fellows in the modules marked for them. A postgraduate degree is something you do mostly alone, over months or years, often beside a job and a family, and this course is a companion for that road, from starting to submission and after.
It follows the four crossings of the postgraduate path: starting, the proposal and confirmation, the writing-up year, and submission and after. Along the way it brings together what research says helps: support and belonging, a working partnership with your supervisor, an honest plan, a writing rhythm you choose, kindness to yourself on the long road, and a clear view of what comes next. If you study part-time while working, the planners make room for work, family and rest.
In Our Expectations you rate pairs of statements about how supervision could work, add your supervisor's view if they are willing, and write down your agreements. My Backward Plan starts from your submission date and works backwards with an honest buffer drawn from your own past experience. Little and Often: My Writing Log helps you choose a writing rhythm that fits your life and log what you did, with no judgement. Later, Through the Examiner’s Eyes has you read your thesis the way an experienced examiner will. Every tool shows the levels it suits best.
I suggest you begin with What Keeps Me Well and Working With Your Supervisor, wherever you are in your degree, and then join at the crossing you are at now. A free twenty-four-hour trial lets you try the whole course first.
